ZOND – ZondMT2D Software

MT (AMT, RMT) 2D DATA INTERPRETATION
ZondMT2D is designed as the main tool for 2-D magnetotelluric data inversion and covers wide frequency band of the data – MT, AMT and RMT.
This feature gives the possibility to study resistivity distribution from first meters to dozens of kilometers or even several hundred of kilometers.
ZondMT2D provides modelling, sensitivity analysis as well as inversion of the field data.
ZondMT2D uses simple and understandable data format, which allows to use together different system of observation, import and use topography and other geophysical and geological information. Other known data formats (Mackie, Rebocc) are also supported.
The TE and TM mode data could be inverted separately or together (simultaneously). TE and TM mode could have a different weight. P-shift (static) can be also calculated and taken into account.
There are several different types of inversion:
- Smooth;
- Sharp;
- Focusing.
There are convenient ways to use apriori information, to use apriori model as the start one, to put weight on the field data, to fix electric properties or limit these changes.
There is a simple way to import other geophysical and geological information and show it together with inversion results.
