IMVP
8-CHANNEL GEOPHYSICAL EM RECEIVER FOR INDUCED POLARIZATION
Application:
Multichannel electroporspecting receiver IMVP is used to make researches by induced polarization method (IP) in frequency and/or temporary domain, direct current (impedance) method (resistance method), frequency sounding method and differential-normed electroprospecting method.
Features:
Receiver IMVP registers a signal with 8 detector lines MN, where the M-electrode of one detector line can be N-electrode of the other. All lines can join in one 8-channel cable or 2 cables in fours. Receiver and signal recording are controlled through PC. The notebook is necessary for ruling “RGM-8” and recording the signal. We recommend to use field-type notebook by PANASONIC, CF-18 or CF-29 series. Connection with PC is performed through the USB-port.
Advantages:
Using the multichannel electroprospecting receiver IMVP increases working efficiency, reduces prime cost of works and expands information capacity of the induced polarization method. This device is modern, portable, independent, multichannel and high precise. The increase of information capacity is achieved by answer registration either in frequency domain in wide frequency range, or in temporary domain. High precision of registration (receiver uses 24-bit processors in each channel) and long continual recording with frequent discretization interval (2500 Hz) provide the ability of using various algorithms for studying time-and-frequency characteristics of the induced polarization process. Time-and-frequency characters of IP afford to divide different types of rocks and ore minerals.
